Lovely Runner Episode 9 Recap:
In Episode 9 of Lovely Runner, the story continues with Im Sol feeling worried after seeing news about Sun-jae getting stabbed. She rushes to the hospital where she finds Sun-jae's dad in tears. Im Sol then goes to Sun-jae's place hoping to find a special watch. But when she's there, she runs into In-hyuk, who blames her for Sun-jae's attack and doesn't understand why the watch matters. He tells her Sun-jae lost it a long time ago.
Feeling upset, Im Sol goes home and learns from her mom that Sun-jae helped save her from a kidnapping in 2009. This is news to Im Sol, who doesn't remember being kidnapped again by the same person. Determined to understand, she meets with Tae-sung's dad, who shares files from the 2009 case. Im Sol reads Sun-jae's report, where he describes finding her in distress and helping her.
Im Sol feels guilty for what happened to Sun-Jae and searches through the files for any clue about the missing watch. Eventually, she spots it in a photo of the crime scene. Excited, she contacts Tae-sung's dad, who tells her that recovered items are usually returned to their owners after a case is closed.
Im Sol's grandma unexpectedly shows up wearing the watch, revealing she's been keeping it safe. Im Sol wonders why her grandma seems to know about her time-traveling. With the watch in hand, Im Sol heads to the hospital where Sun-Jae is in a coma, determined to make things right.
When Im Sol activates the watch, she finds herself back in March 2009, where she encounters Sun-Jae in a college setting. Despite her attempts to avoid him, she ends up falling into his arms. Later, she confides in her friend Hyun-joo about her complicated feelings.
Im Sol decides to report her first abduction to the police, providing evidence that links her case to another incident. Meanwhile, she runs into Tae-sung and they catch up, but there's a mix-up with their bags. Im Sol's ex, In-hyuk, notices her strange behavior and teases Sun-Jae about it.
Back home, Im Sol's brother, Im Geum, talks about Sun-jae, revealing some underlying tensions. At Sun-jae's house, his dad suggests therapy for his injuries, but Sun-jae is preoccupied with thoughts of Im Sol.
During a school trip, Im Sol tries to avoid Sun-jae but ends up in situations where they interact. Despite her efforts, Sun-jae confronts her about her behavior. Meanwhile, Hyun-joo tries to set up Im Geum with someone.
As the trip progresses, Im Sol finds herself in more awkward situations, including accidentally injuring Sun-jae and encountering a troublesome student who has a crush on her. Amidst all this, Im Geum deals with personal issues and Im Sol and Sun-jae have a heartfelt conversation.
Later, Im Sol learns that the police's efforts to catch the culprit have failed, leaving her feeling scared. Sun-jae confronts her about her knowledge of his unreleased song, leading to a surprising revelation.
In the epilogue, we see a flashback to a moment when Im Sol drunkenly revealed her secret to Sun-jae. Presently, Sun-jae asks her directly if she's really from the future, leaving Im Sol stunned.

After watching Episode 9 of Lovely Runner, I feel a mix of emotions. It's like riding a rollercoaster of suspense, guilt, and surprise.
